Kanakapura is a town situated 55 kilometers from Bangalore and 27 kilometers from Ramanagar. It is strategically located in South on the National Highway 209 and is famous for silk and granite production. Kanakapura Road is a part of the NH 209 which connects Kanakapura town to Bangalore.
