Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur (MIHAN) is an airport project for Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur. The project is divided into two parts – an international airport to act as a cargo hub and a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) with a residential zone covering a total area of 40.25 km² on the southern end of Nagpur.
The MIHAN project is still underway which once completed would form the epicenter for commercial development in India. It is centrally located and easily accessible to all the metropolitan cities of India. The metro rail project has two routes - Automotive Square, Kamptee to MIHAN Metro Depot and Prajapati Nagar, East Wardhaman Nagar to Lokmanya Nagar, Hingna. There would be 18 stations on route number 1 with a terminal and depot at MIHAN and 19 stations on route number 2 with a terminal and depot at Lokmanya Nagar.
